Lent at West Linn Lutheran
Lent is a season of reflection and growth, lasting 40 days leading up to Easter. It’s a time for Christians to pause and consider their spiritual journey, often by simplifying life in some way, whether through fasting, prayer, or acts of kindness. The idea is not about guilt or punishment, but about making space for deeper connection with God, each other, and ourselves. It’s a chance to embrace a more intentional way of living, focusing on renewal and hope as we prepare for the celebration of resurrection. Below you will find many different ways to engage with this season leading up to Holy Week and Easter.
